Major reasons to buy food at grocery stores in Japan 2021
The leading reason to buy food at supermarkets in Japan was that the location is convenient as revealed in a survey conducted in May 2021. While 76 percent of respondents agreed that the location of food grocers is a reason to prefer the store retailers for food purchases, over 47 percent considered the broad assortment and freshness a strong impetus as well.
