While the Conservative Party of Erin O'Toole and Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party finished neck and neck in the 2021 Canadian federal election at the national level, the difference between the two parties' scores is much wider in the province of Nova Scotia. While the Liberals won over 42 percent of the vote, the Conservatives won 29.4 percent, compared to over 33 percent nationally. In addition, Jagmeet Singh's New Democratic Party came in third, with 22.1 percent of the vote.
