Estimated winery investment in post-pandemic wine tourism 2020
In 2020, the global tourism sector was severely constrained by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many wineries worldwide were also affected, as some offer wine tours. When asked about investment in wine tourism post-COVID-19, nearly one-third of wineries surveyed stated that they planned to invest more than years before. Meanwhile, around a quarter of wineries stated that they had no idea how much they would invest in wine tourism following the pandemic.
