Global winery predictions of when wine tourism will return to normal 2020
In 2020, the global tourism sector was severely constrained by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many wineries worldwide were also affected, as some offer wine tours. When asked when they thought wine tourism activities would return to normal levels, nearly 58 percent of wineries surveyed stated that this would happen in 2022. Meanwhile, around two percent of wineries stated that a return to normal wine tourism activity would not occur until 2024 or later.
