Young women's opinion on who should fight online disinformation in Latin America 2021
During a 2021 survey conducted among women aged between 15 and 24 years in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Peru, 22 percent of respondents said social media companies should be responsible for identifying and countering misinformation and disinformation online. Similarly, 21 percent of the interviewees stated that news and media companies should have that responsibility.
