JR Hokkaido's operating revenue FY 2015-2023
In the fiscal year 2023, Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) generated around 147.7 billion Japanese yen of operating revenue, increasing from 133.7 billion in the preceding year. JR Hokkaido operating primarily on the Japanese main island Hokkaido is one of the regional passenger railway companies belonging to the Japan Railways Group, which has its origins in the former state-owned Japan National Railways. The shares of JR Hokkaido are held by the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency, an independent administrative body.
