Thailand: value of Kon La Kreung stimulus scheme 2022

In 2022, the Thai government spent almost 110 billion Thai baht on the third phase of the Kon La Krueng scheme. The Kon La Kreung or half-half co-payment packages were part of the Thai government subsidy schemes created to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligibility criteria: registrants must be Thai citizens above the age of 18 who are not state welfare or other financial scheme cardholders. Successful registrants receive a subsidy of 150 Baht per day or 50 percent of each purchase equal or below the amount. Every payment must be made through Paotang G Wallet application.

Phase 3: July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021
Phase 4: February 1, 2022 to April 30, 2022
Phase 5: September 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022
