In response to a survey on video streaming behaviors conducted by Rakuten Insight in 2024, more than 40 percent of respondents in India cited video streaming services being too expensive as the primary reason for not choosing to subscribe to them. The next most popular reason stated was that consumers were not interested in the shows on offer.
