Women made up the majority of lawyers employed by UK law firms in 2020, but less women were found among (equity) partners. Despite representing a slight majority, women were still underrepresented at higher level of the legal services sector. Only 24 percent of all equity partners in the largest 100 law firms in the UK were women.
