Family planning or child custody appeared to be the most common legal need that consumers had, according to a survey conducted among legal consumers in North America in 20212. Legal needs, however, varied greatly. Personal injury, and divorce or separation completed the top three of the main legal needs that consumers in the United States and Canada had.
