Most popular book formats worldwide 2020

In 2020, 45 percent of book readers in the United States favored a combination of print, e-books, and audiobooks, compared to 40 percent of respondents from the United Kingdom and Germany. Print books remained popular with more than 30 percent of readers in all three countries preferring to read print only, whereas very few readers listened to or read exclusively audiobooks or e-books.
