Impact of COVID-19 on business enterprises in Nigeria 2020, by type
For most of the business enterprises in Nigeria, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic did not have any positive impact, especially on informal businesses' operations. Nevertheless, some five percent of formal enterprises declared that the pandemic brought new business opportunities, while nine percent of informal enterprises indicated reduced workers' salaries as a positive effect.
