In 2019, the import of ships and boats into Madagascar amounted to an approximate value of three million U.S. dollars. This was a slight decrease in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 3.1 million U.S. dollars of the products were imported. Furthermore, Germany was one of the main trade partners of Madagascar in terms of ship and boat imports, with a share of around 20 percent.
