At the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, the value of net assets of regulated open-end funds was highest in the United States. Net assets of mutual funds in the U.S. amounted to a value of over 17.2 trillion U.S. dollars, while those of exchange traded funds (ETFs) and money market funds amounted to a value of approximately 6.4 trillion and 4.7 trillion U.S. dollars, respectively. The value of net assets of mutual funds was second highest in Luxemburg that quarter, and that of ETFs was second-highest in Ireland.
