Reasons for closure among businesses in Nigeria 2020
According to a study conducted at the end of 2020, the most common reason for business closure in Nigeria was the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Some 66 percent of the businesses that were closed during the survey period declared that the closure was due to the pandemic. In addition, about 13 percent of the enterprises closed for lack of demand.
