As of June 2021, around 82 percent of Chinese fathers born in the 90s had a positive view on equal parenting. Meanwhile, among fathers born in the 1970s, the overall acceptance of splitting the parenting responsibilities with their partner was comparably low, with around 47 percent of respondents approving.
