In a survey conducted between September and October 2019 in Ghana, it was revealed that 39 percent of the respondents somewhat or greatly trusted the police in the country. This was a lower share compared to most of the previous survey years. For instance, in 2008, 47 percent of the individuals trusted police officers in Ghana.
