Between 2022 and 2023, the value of initial public offerings (IPOs) proceeds in the Asia-Pacific region declined by 44 percent. In contrast, the Americas saw an increase of 155 percent, following a year-over-year decrease of 95 percent in the previous year. Meanwhile, the global decline amounted to 33 percent during the same period, nearly half of the previous year’s total.
