Between the 2021 and 2022, the number of IPOs nearly halved, decreasing by 45 percent. The Americas experienced the steepest decline, with -76 percent. Meanwhile, the decrease in the Asia-Pacific region was -26 percent, and in the EMEIA region -53 percent. The year-on year change in IPO proceeds in each region exceeded the decrease in the number of IPOs.
