In the Sami parliamentary election in Norway in 2021, Norske Samers Riksforbund became the largest party and increased their share of votes from 2017 by 3.8 percentage points. However, the party with the largest increase in share of votes was the party Nordkalottfolket, which gained 11.7 percentage points compared to 2017 and finished with over 18 percent of the votes. From 2021, seven parties are represented in the Sami parliament in Norway.

The Norwegian Sami parliament, located in Karasjok, was founded in 1989 by the Norwegian government to promote Sami culture and interests in Norway. Elections for the parliaments are held every four years, simultaneous with the Norwegian parliamentary election.
