In 2021, the coronavirus pandemic year, almost 9.9 percent of respondents who never cooked in their free time used delivery services to order ready-made meals. 55.9 percent of those who cooked several times a week never used delivery services for ready-made meals. The survey was conducted in Germany among respondents aged 14 and older.

Within the framework of this survey, delivery service customers are defined as people who stated that they had used a delivery service to order ready-made meals several times a week, once a week, several times a month or once a month at the time of the survey.
Information on total sample:
2020: 23,138 respondents, projection to 70.63 million people
Information on target group "Delilvery service customers":
5,578 respondents, projection to 16.61 million people
