Number of 4G wireless routers delivered to education providers by UK government 2022
As of April 2022, the government of the United Kingdom has dispatched 101,990 wireless 4G routers to local authorities or education providers in England in order to support remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic. This scheme initially started to provide other devices such as laptops and tablets to schools in May 2020 during the Summer term of the 2019/20 academic year and was expanded significantly at the start of 2021.
