According to a survey in June 2020, an overwhelming 61 percent of Chinese respondents said they paid more attention to their health and well-being after the coronavirus pandemic. Respondents who had immune and digestive issues paid even more attention to their general health.

The survey was conducted among respondents who resided in China's tier-1 and tier-2 cities with above average household income.
The respondents had an interest in food and links with health and wellbeing.
962 respondents had digestive health issues, 858 had immune health issues, and 833 of them had metabolic health issues.
The survey conducted in March 2019 was among 3,082 respondents.
