In the first five months of 2021, total deal value was worth 145.8 billion U.S. dollars. Further, there were four megadeals amounting to 63.8 billion U.S. dollars in the second quarter of 2021. Many companies conceive of M&A's as an opportunity to accelerate growth and digitize their businesses.
