Even though rural depopulation has slowed down in Hungary and an increasing number of people choose to move to villages, some settlements still recorded a considerable decrease in the number of inhabitants. One of these villages is Lasztonya, located in south-west Hungary, that lost over 40 percent of its population over the past five years.
