In July 2021, a survey carried out in Great Britain found that ten percent of respondents aged between 25 to 49 years and those aged between 50 to 64 years smoked cigarettes every day. On the other hand, 71 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 24 years reported that they have never smoked. Furthermore, almost 50 percent of those aged 65 years and older reported to have smoked previously but had now given up.
