In H1 2021, hyperscale operator capex spending has taken 27 percent of total IT infrastructure spending which amounted to around 300 billion U.S. dollars. Notably, telco capex has remained relatively even in comparison until H1 2020. In H1 2021, telco spending capex dropped to 44 percent.

Telcos include both fixed and mobile operations.
