Investment sectors with largest opportunities and threats worldwide 2020
The sector posing the largest overall assumed threat to investor's portfolios for the next six to 12 months, as of September 2020, was travel and hospitality. Around one fifth of global respondents assumed this to become an opportunity to their investment portfolio, while over one third assumed it to be a threat. The sector with the highest assumed opportunity was the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector, with 66 percent of investors seeing this sector as an opportunity. This was also the sector with the lowest share of assumed threat, at five percent of respondents.
