As of February 2021, the monthly active users of E Fund amounted to 1.16 million, which was the highest number of MAU among all leading direct sales investment funds in China. In contrast to brokers or banks, direct sales investment funds do not involve a third party in the investment process. Instead, the client directly invests in the fund via a smartphone app.
