According to a survey on subscription video-on-demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024 in Malaysia, around 21 percent of respondents wanted to unsubscribe to SvoD streaming services in the next three months. In that same survey, more than half of the Malaysian respondents stated that they subscribed to SvoD services.
