Leading European countries for traveling by car 2022
Germany was the best European country for road trips in 2022, according to an index score published in summer of that year. Spain followed second on the ranking, with five fewer points. The score for the ranking was based on these aspects: camping, infrastructure, cost and prices, traffic and sustainability, car hire and weather, as well as nature and beauty spots.
