Between January and October, 2020, at-home workout apps experienced an increase of more than 110 percent in downloads when compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching 388 million downloads due to the impact of COVID-19. Spiritual wellbeing apps were also among the fastest growing medical and health apps, with 28 million downloads in the examined period and a 116 percent year-over-year growth compared to 2019.
