Number of deposit accounts with microfinance institutions in Kenya 2010-2020
In 2020, the number of deposit accounts with microfinance institutions in Kenya roughly reached 2.6 million, the highest since 2010. That year, there were less than one million of such accounts in the country. The presence of microfinance in Kenya has overall developed, with a relevant growth also in the number of microfinance institutions.
