The success of French series such as Lupin on Netflix are proof of the appeal of this type of content to the audience of video-on-demand platforms. In order to diversify their range of offerings, VOD platforms are thus investing more and more in the production of French TV series. Since 2016, the value of these investments has exploded, from 15 million euros in 2016 to almost 100 million euros five years later.
