Between April and June 2024, in Italy, 5,300 calls were made to the gender violence and stalking helpline for asking for information about the 1522 anti-violence service. Instead, help requests directly made by victims of violence were 3,000. In those cases when the caller was a friend or relative of the victim, similarly, the most common reason was to gather information about the 1522 service.
