To the majority of respondents from a survey conducted in the United States in August 2021 the lack of crowds and fans in the venues had no effect on the enjoyment of watching the Olympic Games. Only 12 percent of the Olympics viewers stated the lack of crowds and fans took away a lot of enjoyment, whilst 18 percent said the lack of crowds and fans added a lot of amusement.
