Beer consumption in Africa 2015-2019
Beer consumption in Africa reached around 14.7 million kiloliters in 2019. This was equivalent to roughly 23.3 billion beer bottles of 633 milliliters each. Demand for the alcoholic beverage increased by 5.2 percent in comparison to the previous year and kept an upward trend. Currently, Africa has a stake of nearly eight percent in the global beer consumption market.
