Olympics viewership in the U.S. 2021, by frequency and age

A survey conducted in the United States in August 2021 showed that the majority of adults did not watch the Olympic Games and never do. Around 11 percent of the respondents aged between 18 and 54 years stated they watched the 2021 Tokyo Olympics more than usual, while the share of people aged 55 years and older stated so was eight percent.
