As of 2020, around 14.1 billion Moroccan dirhams (MAD) (roughly 1.6 billion U.S. dollars) of goods from other parts of Africa were imported into Morocco. In the previous year, nearly 18 billion MAD (around two billion U.S. dollars) of imports from the continent were registered in Morocco. Overall, Egypt was the main trade partner of Morocco in terms of imports within the Africa region.
