In 2018, the share of children between the ages of zero and six attending educational institutions in South Africa was highest among the white population, at 73.4 percent. Moreover, 60.8 percent of the Asian/Indian child population were enrolled in institutions of education. Furthermore, the share for colored children within this age group amounted to 51.7 percent.
