Russian employees in management positions had a gender pay gap of 32.7 percent in 2019, meaning that the difference between average monthly male and female wages accounted for nearly one third of average male earnings. The largest gender pay gap in the country was observed among mid-level employees at 40 percent. In one of the presented professional groups, namely among qualified agriculture, forestry, and fishery workers, the gender pay gap was negative, which meant that women's earnings were on average higher than those of men.
