According to a survey on subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, about 38 percent of the male respondents in Thailand stated that they intended to unsubscribe from SVoD service providers in the next three months because there was nothing interesting left to watch. Meanwhile, around 37 percent of the female respondents stated that they would also cancel such services because the subscription prices were getting more expensive.
