HIV clinical studies in Brazil 2022, by starting year
In 2022, a total of six registered clinical trials on HIV started in Brazil, down from twelve reported a year earlier. 2009 was the year with the highest number of HIV clinical studies opened in the South American country. As of 2023, Latin America and Africa concentrated only one percent of the pharmaceutical research and development companies worldwide.
