In 2023, younger consumers were the most likely to buy a product they had seen on a social media platform. According to the survey, almost 70 percent of Gen Z and over nine out of ten millennial shoppers in the United States purchased an item they had previously seen on their social media feed.

In the following countries: the U.S., UK, Australia, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, New Zealand, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Czechia, and Greece. A minimum of 1,000 survey respondents represented each country.
The sample sizes are nationally representative, naturally including both Klarna users and non-Klarna users.
