Global sand export share 2022, by leading countries

In 2022, the United States exported the highest share of sand of any nation worldwide, accounting for nearly 32 percent of the global sand exports based on value that year. The Netherlands was the next largest sand exporter that year, accounting for 12.4 percent of all exports based on value.
