Global VC, PE and M&A investments in cybersecurity 2018-2022
Between 2020 and 2021, the value of venture capital, private equity, and merger and acquisition capital invested in cybersecurity increased more than twofold. In 2020, the value of investments attracted by the cybersecurity sector of the fintech market amounted to approximately 2.1 billion U.S. dollars. In the following years, this sector received an increasing flow of investments, resulting in almost five billion U.S. dollars recorded in 2021.
