Attitudes toward AI technology in Australia 2020
According to a 2020 survey on information privacy in Australia, nine percent of respondents stated they strongly disagreed that decisions made or assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) technology will generally result in fairer decisions than those made by humans. A slightly smaller share of respondents, six percent, stated they strongly agreed with this sentiment. These findings speak to mixed feelings towards AI technology among the Australian population.
