Most used SVOD platforms in Hong Kong 2021, by gender

According to a Hong Kong consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, Netflix was the most used subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platform, with 80 percent of male respondents and 83 percent of female respondents using its paid services. Viu, one of the leading local SVOD service providers in Hong Kong, followed with a wide margin.
