According to a survey on intention to unsubscribe from subscription video on demand (SvoD) services in the next three months conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, approximately 41 percent of female and 50 percent of male Indonesian respondents stated that they intended to do so because the subscription prices were getting more expensive. The same survey found that around 23 percent of Indonesian respondents intended to unsubscribe from SvoD services in the next three months.
