According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024 in the Philippines, 36 percent of respondents said they were planning to cancel their subscription to a streaming service provider because of increased prices. Several respondents also said they already watched all the content on the platform that they wanted to watch, hence the cancellation.
